Mike Shea is a Partner in PwC Canada’s Deals practice with a focus on Business Modelling. Mike has been with the firm for over 13 years, initially qualifying as a chartered accountant in our audit practice and subsequently working in our valuation practice in London, UK, providing business and asset valuation advice in a variety of contexts.
For the past 6 years, as part of PwC’s Business Modelling Services Group, Mike leverages his extensive financial advisory, valuations and business modelling experience to help his clients make better business decisions through the development and testing of financial models. Typical financial models developed by Mike and his team include “Deal Models” to support in the evaluation of mergers and acquisitions as well as “Asset Management Models” to support companies in their monitoring, planning and exit of investments.
In addition to his experience leading the development of financial models for clients, Mike regularly leads “Model Diligence” assignments on financial models developed by his clients and/or their advisors to provide comfort on model outputs, structure, logic and mechanical accuracy.
